Job Title: Multi-Skilled Technician Location: Corby Pay Range/details: Competitive Salary Contract Type: Permanent Shift Pattern: Continental 12-hour shift pattern, rotating days and nights on a 2/2/3 schedule, with 2x 30-minute and 2x 10-minute breaks Our client based in Corby are currently looking for a Multiskilled Technician to join their growing team. As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will maintain 24/7 equipment availability through proactive and reactive maintenance to equipment on the shop floor Key responsibilities Multi Skilled Technician Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site services Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, aiming for a "First Time Fix" resolution Log equipment maintenance records in the engineering system and complete required quality documentation Share comprehensive shift handovers with engineering team members for operational continuity Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory standards in every task Support contractor management to ensure compliance with site safety policies and procedures Drive process enhancements to boost equipment reliability and operational uptime Keep informed of current regulations relevant to your technical expertise Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Technician Level 3/4 NVQ diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent (e.g., vocational certifications for non-UK educational backgrounds) Completed engineering apprenticeship or comparable educational qualification Multi-skilled qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering Demonstrated experience in a production maintenance setting with multi-disciplinary skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and high standards Desirable: HND in Engineering and experience with PLC programming or fault diagnosis What we can offer - Multi-Skilled Technician Attractive salary package with performance-based commission Free onsite parking and access to canteen facilities Comprehensive life assurance and private healthcare benefits Employee assistance programme and recognition/reward initiatives Access to a discount platform and company social events For further details, contact Charlie Boulton at 01453 852544 or email your CV to Candidates currently employed as Multi-Skilled Technicians, Mechanical Technicians, Electrical Technicians, or Plant Engineers may be well-suited for this role.
