Logistics Operator (MRP experienced)

MTrecs new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking for a Logistics Operator who has MRP experience to join them on a permanent basis.The Job youll doReporting directly to the Logistics Manager, this person will be an integral part of the companys goods inward/outwards requirements. This is a key role in a busy department which requires the applicant to be well-organised, flexible and able to work to tight deadlines. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a warehouse environment, who can converse with colleagues at every level and has basic IT skills. Experience of stock control would be beneficial.IT/ system experience is essential as of the department developing with new systems & processes.Packing products ready for shipping.Booking goods in and out using the companys MRP system.Issuing stock to departments, booking in/out of MRP system.Monitor and report discrepancies and non-compliances.Loading/unloading vehicles with incoming/outgoing goods using a forklift truck.General housekeeping duties.Driving company vehicles on an ad-hoc basis.Other shop floor and administrative duties as assigned by line manager.About YouForklift truck licence desirable (if you have an expired licence, the company will re-train in-house).Good communication skills.Full UK driving licence is essential.Flexible approach to tasks.Ability to use MS Outlook, Word and Excel & PC/Smart devices.Experience of an ERP/MRP system.The Rewards and the BenefitsCompany Pension Scheme.Death in Service Insurance.Critical Illness Insurance.Overtime Rate Applicable.Cycle to Work Scheme.Radius Allowance payable based on commute to work miles.JBRP1_UKTJ
