Copello are working with a leading Defence business who are looking for an experienced Aircraft Mechanical Operator to support frontline military fast jets. Youll play a key role in keeping high-performance combat aircraft mission-ready, working in a fast-paced and safety-critical environment alongside military teams.What youll do: Carry out maintenance from strip-down through to installation on aircraft mechanical systems Inspect, repair, and replace components in line with approved technical documentation Follow planned and unplanned maintenance schedules confidently and safely Act as a first signatory, taking responsibility for your work Read engineering drawings and complete all required paperwork to standardRequired skills: Relevant aviation or military engineering apprenticeship (e.g. City & Guilds 2675/2661) Recent experience working on Fast Jet aircraft (Desirable) Strong understanding of Part 145 / MAOS maintenance standards Familiarity with depth maintenance documentation
