Working closely with our external payroll provider and internal teams, youll keep everything running like clockwork from monthly checks to HMRC submissions all while strengthening processes and protecting sensitive data.What Youll Be DoingRunning monthly payroll checks and ensuring every detail is spotonManaging salary payments and thirdparty payments with precisionOwning monthend reporting journals, reconciliations, KPIs and moreProducing payroll analysis and approval packs for senior leadershipBeing the first point of contact for HR, Finance and managersKeeping payroll processes accurate, documented and continuously improvingLeading yearend tasks including P11D and Class 1A submissionsSupporting employees with payroll, tax, NI, pension and benefit queriesStaying ahead of payroll legislation and advising the businessEnsuring full GDPR compliance and flagging risks before they become issuesYoull Excel Here If You Have5+ years payroll experience in a complex organisationDeep expertise in UK payroll legislation and best practiceStrong Excel skills (vlookup, data analysis essential)A meticulous, organised, deadlinefocused approachGreat communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, Ill sort it mindsetExperience with ADP / IHCM (bonus!)IPPM qualification (nice to have)
