Key responsibilities include: Defining and delivering the strategic vision for Building Control Leading innovation and service redesign to drive efficiency and performance Ensuring robust compliance, quality assurance, and risk management Inspiring and managing a skilled and growing team Representing the service in high-level partnerships and stakeholder forums The Ideal Candidate The role calls for an experienced, values-driven leader who is a Registered Building Inspector (Class 4) with: A proven track record in Building Control leadership Deep understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory frameworks Experience delivering operational improvement and cultural change Strong team leadership and people development capabilities High emotional intelligence and strategic influence The Offer Salary: 65,000-75,000 per annum , with additional market supplements negotiable based on experience.
