Job DescriptionCredit Controller - Generous salary + benefits package - Hybrid working options Your new companyA rare opportunity to join my client in the role of Credit Controller at their expanding site located in the Colchester area.Your new roleWorking as part of a professional and supportive finance team, you will play a pivotal role in the position of Credit Controller, managing the debtor ledger with key duties including:Build strong working relationships with customersProactively chase outstanding payments via phone and emailInvestigate and resolve customer queriesCustomer database updates and maintenanceAged debtor reportingWork with internal stakeholders to ensure all customer accounts are accurate and providing key insightsProvide key insights to Senior Management regarding debt positionRecommend and highlight accounts that require escalation or legal actionAssist with month-end reporting and sales ledger reconciliationsWhat you''ll need to succeedYou will have proven experience in a similar credit control positionExcellent communication skills and strong attention to detail will be essentialKnowledge of Sage will be highly beneficialPositive and proactive team playerWhat you''ll get in returnGenerous starting salary circa 34000 - 37000 plus competitive benefits package including 25 plus days + bank holidays; company pension scheme; health cash plan scheme; professional membership support; death in service; volunteering leave; health and wellness programme and flexible / hybrid working options.
