We also offer preventative and reactive maintenance services along with logistics, warehousing and training facilities. We have 6 offices around the globe: Dublin, London, Tokyo, New York, Atlanta, and Portland.Role SummaryTo oversee, plan and manage the delivery of a variety of global construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, to the required quality and within cost parameters that achieve the required profit margins. Accountable for regular and accurate reporting. To lead, motivate and grow the team whilst proactively developing and improving the working procedures within the company through various initiatives and continued innovation. To act as the key point of contact to clients, continuously seeking new work opportunities whilst upselling and re-selling to existing clients.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead, inspire and develop a team with the required skills and experience to support workloadAccountable for the management of projects and programmes, including on site project teams, establishing project requirements, allocating resources to co-ordinate projects through their full lifecycle (occasional out of hours work may be required in line with project needs)Responsible and accountable for the overall training of the project teamManage client relationships and oversee project issues and complaint management and intervene where appropriate, acting as point of escalationContinuously seek to drive business with new and existing clientsHave oversight of vendor base, maintain and seek new relationships, identify supply chain weaknesses and act as escalation pointAccountable for managing KPI data for both clients and contractorsAccountable for the creation and management of project documentation (e.g. letters of appointment, proposals, scope of works, contracts, programmes, minutes of meetings, drawings, H&S records, RAMS, and statements of completion)Oversee the project team to ensure administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner, to the desired quality & timelinesAccountable for the quotation / tender process, budget monitoring and control and for margins on all projectsProactively develop and improve the working procedures within the companySkills, Behaviours & ExperiencePeople skillsAble to motivate, delegate and communicate with a team to create a positive working environment and keep high performance levelsAble to listen, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback to team and colleaguesPossesses excellent negotiation skills with experience of conflict managementAble to provide support, coaching and development to your teamAble to give clear direction, make decisions and manage resource levels and workloadAble to manage performance, resolve conflict and complete other line manager admin dutiesAble to lead the appraisal process, providing clear and measurable goals & objectives to your team, both short and long termPossesses excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at client/third-party interaction across a global networkBusiness and operational behavioursPossesses strong and demonstrable organisational & time-management skillsAdaptable and flexible; able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within a fast-paced retail environmentEnergetic and proactive; able to grasp new ideasPossesses an enthusiastic attitude and a continuous improvement approach to workA brand ambassador that always represents the business in a professional mannerDisciplined, hardworking and resilient; able to perform effectively under pressureDemonstrates commercial acumen in everyday transactionsWhere required will be able to cover out of hours projectsAble to lead by example, make decisions & resolve problems efficientlyAble to plan for the future and to translate corporate vision into functional and individual goalsIT & SystemsExpert MS Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Adobe PDFMac OS and iOS platformsMS collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)MS Project, an advantageCAD software, an advantageEducation, Qualifications & ExperienceExperience of managing project and multi-disciplinary teamsBackground in Construction, Project Management, Architecture / Design, Engineering or Quantity Surveying, an advantageExperience working in or for retail brands, a distinct advantageFluency in English and at least one other language, a distinct advantageExpert in reading, understanding and annotating architectural and technical drawingsWell-versed in H&S regulationsH&S training / Certification (e.g. CSCS), an advantageDemonstrable experience in using/developing online tools for PM managementExperience of managing contractors/suppliers both on and off siteExperience of procurement and budgetingARB / RIBA / APM / RICS membership, an advantageThis job description is not exhaustive and may be added to or changed to from time to time following discussion and consultation with the post holder and line manager.
