Senior Legal Counsel – Structured Credit & Political RiskLocation: LondonWe are working with a leading financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support its structured credit and political risk practice in London. This is a senior role offering exposure to complex, cross-border transactions and the opportunity to play a key part in the growth of an innovative platform.The Role:Act as lead counsel on multi-insurer, multi-jurisdictional non-payment and political risk policies.Advise on funded and unfunded credit protections for European banks and SPV-based securitisations involving sovereign and corporate risk.Contribute to the development and delivery of securitisation platforms and structured solutions.Provide governance, legal oversight, and strategic guidance across the practice.Mentor and support junior colleagues.The Candidate:Qualified lawyer with strong experience in structured finance, credit, or political risk law (private practice or in-house).Demonstrable track record in complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions.Ability to combine technical legal expertise with commercial awareness.Collaborative, with proven leadership or mentoring capabilities.Salary: Competitive + benefits
