HR AdvisorCovering Tiptree, Sudbury & East Hanningfield (travel required)Full-time (40 hours) or part-time (4 full days considered)Up to £35,978 per annum (dependent on experience, pro rata for part-time)Were currently working with a well-established, independent business operating within the retail sector, who are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support their growing team across multiple sites in Essex and Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-led, people-first organisation with exciting expansion plans and a strong focus on employee wellbeing.About the Role:As HR Advisor, youll be a key part of the internal HR team, providing professional and proactive HR guidance to managers across approximately 300 employees. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, and enjoys building strong, coaching-style relationships with operational leaders.Youll be involved in a wide range of generalist HR duties including employee relations casework, absence management, recruitment support, policy updates, and project-based work that supports broader HR strategy.Key Responsibilities:Provide clear, commercially-sound HR advice to line managers across 3 sitesManage employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and absenceOffer guidance on recruitment processes and contribute to talent attraction strategiesSupport with sickness absence cases, including liaison with Occupational HealthDraft HR documents such as contracts, letters, and policy updatesContribute to ongoing HR projects around engagement, wellbeing and employee experienceUse and help maintain the HRIS (Employment Hero), with training provided if requiredCandidate Profile:CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)Sound working knowledge of UK employment lawExperience in a generalist HR role within a fast-paced, multi-site environmentStrong communication and influencing skills, with confidence advising stakeholders at all levelsDetail-oriented, organised, and adaptable under pressureWilling to travel regularly between sites (Tiptree, Sudbury & East Hanningfield)Confident using HR systems and MS OfficeBenefits Include:Generous staff discount scheme (rising to 40% on specific items after 1 year)22 days holiday + bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)Annual Christmas bonusCompany sick pay after probationEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP) available to employees and immediate familyTraining & development opportunities, including in-house e-learning platformAccess to national retail discount schemesFree on-site parkingSupportive, friendly working environment in a picturesque rural settingIf youre a hands-on HR Advisor looking for a role where you can make a real impact across a well-regarded and growing business, wed love to hear from you.Apply now or get in touch for a confidential chat about the opportunity.JBRP1_UKTJ
