JOB- Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)LOCATION- ColchesterTERM- PermanentSALARY- £50,000 to £65,000 per annum (plus benefits)Premier Engineering is currently working with a well-established Building Services consultancy who are looking to expand their team with a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-profile projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, healthcare, residential, and education.The Senior Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent)Minimum of 5 years' experience in a building services consultancy environmentStrong knowledge of mechanical building services design including HVAC, ventilation, and heating systemsProficient in Revit, with a good understanding of BIM workflowsExcellent communication and leadership skillsFamiliarity with industry standards such as CIBSE, BSRIA, and building regulationsChartered status or working towards chartership (CEng) is advantageousThe Senior Mechanical Engineer role will involve:Leading the mechanical design on a range of building services projectsProducing detailed design calculations and specificationsCoordinating with architects, structural engineers, and other consultantsManaging and mentoring junior engineers and CAD/Revit techniciansAttending project and client meetingsEnsuring project delivery is to a high standard and meets deadlinesIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
