Business Analyst (Consultant)Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote)Day Rate/Salary: £650 inside IR35 A leading digital consultancy is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their growing delivery practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation projects that impact millions of users.The RoleAs a Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring business needs are clearly understood and translated into actionable requirements. You will support the design and delivery of innovative, user-centred solutions, while managing stakeholder expectations and contributing to project success.You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Architects, Designers, and Developers in an Agile environment. Alongside delivery responsibilities, you’ll also help shape and mentor junior team members, ensuring best practice across analysis activities.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaCollaborate with stakeholders to define solutions that meet business and user needsSupport the delivery lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation and testingContribute to backlog refinement, prioritisation, and sprint planning in Agile teamsEnsure non-functional requirements (e.g. compliance, scalability, performance) are capturedCoach and mentor junior analysts where requiredEssential ExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst on complex digital projectsStrong understanding of Agile delivery methodologiesAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSkilled in requirement elicitation, process mapping, and gap analysisExperience working in fast-paced, client-facing environmentsStrong stakeholder management and commercial awarenessDesirableExperience in consultancy or digital agency environmentsKnowledge of multiple domains (e.g. public sector, financial services, healthcare)Active participation in knowledge-sharing or professional communitiesContact Anna-Jane Murphy at Anson McCade to learn more!
