Job Title: Support Worker (Care Home) Location: Great Broughton, Cockermouth (CA13), CA13 0YG Start Date: Immediate Joiner Required Job Description We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a care home setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing at all times. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and emotional support to residents. Assist residents with daily living activities such as meals, mobility, and hygiene. Administer prescribed medication accurately, including use of eMAR systems . Promote independence, dignity, and respect for residents. Implement and follow individual care plans. Respond to emergencies and incidents in line with PMVA/MAPA training. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals. Requirements Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting. Medication administration training (essential). Valid PMVA or MAPA certification (essential). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and reliable. Driver with a full UK driving license (preferred). Able to start immediately . Benefits Competitive pay rates.
