Stores Person/Forklift Driver My client is looking for an experienced Stores Person to support all aspects of the Stores function and the smooth running of the Production & Customer Support departments. My client is a market leader in their field and a specialist engineering manufacturer. They are looking for someone bright, energetic who has the ability and confidence to join their busy stores department, able to operate a basic computer system, handle expensive mechanical parts, and use a forklift efficiently. This is a temporary role that may go permanent for the right candidate. You will be employed by the agency in the first instance and they will pay you weekly and have the same benefits as the permanent workers after 12 working weeks. Holiday are included but are required to be accrued, which is around a half day per week. This is strictly on a PAYE basis i.e. not umbrella. Role: Managing goods in/out Using a counterbalance forklift truck to load and unload Stock control and return Packing and shipping spare and replacement parts Manual handling of stock Use of basic computer system Must Have: Your own counterbalance forklift licence Experience in a stores environment Basic computer skills Hours: Mon-Thurs 6.30am-3.30pm Fri 6.30am-2.15pm Money: 14.13/hr for 40 basic hours 21.20/hr overtime during week and first 4 hours on Saturday 28.26/hr after this If you are interested please send your CV or give us a call for a confidential chat.
