Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Lancashire - Days 07:30am3:35pm - ContractIf you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.An established and highly invested process manufacturing site in Clitheroe is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its on-site engineering team.This is a contract role, days-based for an initial 6 month period.The Role:As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, youll be part of a multi-skilled maintenance team supporting several production plants on a large, complex site. Your focus will be on ensuring high plant availability through a mix of reactive breakdown support and planned preventative maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Responding to mechanical breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairsCompleting planned preventative and statutory maintenance activities via the CMMSAccurately recording all maintenance work, job history and spares usage in the systemSupporting the Maintenance Team Leader to deliver a safe, effective maintenance functionContributing to reliability improvements through RCA and FMEA activitiesSupporting site performance targets across EHS, Quality and OEEWhat Were Looking for:A completed xjdpvnf mechanical maintenance apprenticeshipNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or MaintenanceStrong health & safety awareness within a process / chemical environmentExperience with permit-to-work systems including LOTOBackground in process plant maintenance (chemical, oil & gas, or similar highly regulated industries preferred)Confident using a CMMS (e.g. SAP PM or similar)
