Look no further! Valeo Foods, a manufacturer of some of the UKs best loved snacks and confectionery, is looking for a new member of the team!What You'll Be DoingEfficient diagnosis and correction of electrical and mechanical faults site-wideInstallation and commissioning of all new and repaired machinery and equipmentAssist manufacturing with machinery adjustments, changeovers and set upMachine performance improvements and reduction of downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiativesDaily responsible utilizing the CMMS system as applicable:The daily reporting of breakdownsComplete all assigned PPM & corrective activitiesPrioritisation of repair work based on business prioritiesUnderstanding failure root cause analysis experience of FMECASupporting External ContractorsTechnical support for production when requiredTo maintain the highest standards in housekeeping, adopting a clean as you go policyTo maintain the highest standards in completing paperwork and CMMS entries ensuring the quality of information is clear and concise.Supporting with Capital Projects development and implementation.Support the CI culture and related projects across the engineering and Production departmentQualificationsKnowledge / Skills / ExperienceRelevant engineering qualification minimum Level 3Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entryExperience of FMCG operationsPC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)FlexibilityHealth and Safety drivenYou Will BeAn "out of the box" thinker who isn't afraid to share a "light bulb" moment!Health and Safety driven.Willing and able to work both independently and as part of a close team.Additional Information20 days holiday PAMatched pension schemeDeath in serviceCycle to work schemeCanteenRetailer discount platformStaff discount And plenty more!
