Ensuring Brand plans align to our overarching Group StrategyAccountabilities:Influential RelationshipsOwns the day-to-day Brand/Partner relationships with clear responsibility for specific Brands & projects, building long term collaborative relationships where appropriateCommercially astute & leverages insights to influence key stakeholders to add value & drive performanceResponsible for the delivery of Bakkavor & Brand KPIsLeads communication across the Brand NWTs, pipeline & project activityBrings to life the Bakkavor values in how we do businessDevelopment & delivery of commercial strategy to leverage profitable growthIn conjunction with overarching Brand strategy, creates, develops and implements Brand Plans, by leveraging all available insight & cross functional ways of working to generate commercial advantageSets clear Brand objectives & gains 'by in' from key stakeholdersIn conjunction with HOC, creates a 3-year vision for all strategic BrandsCommercial ManagementResponsible for the short & long term forecasting across Brand with appropriate plans to close gapsMedia & Activation fund proposals, planning & trackingResponsible for communication of Brand catalogue, associated pricing & Brand Package stipulations/fundingIn conjunction with HOC, lead monthly internal brand meeting with the support of commercial managerOwn end to end Brand promotional planning with processes in place to review effectiveness and plans to maximise performanceResponsible for tracking Brand health metrics (e.g. awareness, consideration, loyalty)Manage cross functional workstreams to generate cost reduction plans within Brand with clear measures in placeResponsible for Commercial adherence to the NPD process - ensuring all NPD / EPD follows the commercial sign off/procedure & aligns with brand identity & consumer expectationsResponsible for AITB & sign off in conjunction with Commercial Finance teamsDevelops strategic thinking & presents NPD/Brand propositions to customersSupports Commercial Manager to develop propositions, selling strategy & negotiation tacticsResponsible for Commercial PLR & key actions to improve KPIs with decisive actionsMarket Expertise & Brand DevelopmentFull understanding & detailed knowledge of relevant insights including market performance, competitor dynamics and key metrics. Abreast of key trends & impact they will have on our BrandsBrand champion: always abreast of shopper behaviour, usage & occasion, key market trends and be able to work this directly into successful proposition buildingCreate & implement plans to protect & grow Brand equity with plans in place to review effectiveness & maximise KPIsResponsibility for understanding and articulating brand purpose and consumer promiseEnsuring that all brand plans are rooted in consumer insight and emotional connectionPeople - Leads and develops an effective teamInspire, motivate and lead the team through collaboration, innovation & ensuring an open and inclusive cultureActive & engaged member of the Commercial Customer familyEncourage and engage in effective feedback promoting a balanced and constructive culture.
