And empower you to drive your own success and create a career you can be proud of too.You will be responsible for managing and curating critical master data updates, this role plays a central role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in a fast-paced environment. The role requires following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to execute tasks within agreed SLAs and KPIs.The scope of Master Data team includes creating and maintaining Finance, Customer, Vendor,Material and Product related data domains.AccountabilitiesMaster Data ManagementExecute requests for creation, updates, or changes to master data in the appropriate systemsEnsure that data updates are consistently and accurately undertaken across all relevant systemsEngage with stakeholders as needed to gather incomplete data and ensure that required fields are enteredInform requestor and key stakeholders of request status as appropriateVerify and correct master data information prior to syndication when obvious errors are identifiedCreate emergency items and follows up, managing any escalations and exceptionsPlan mass update projects and estimate time to executeExecute mass maintenance requests as directed by MDM ManagerLiaise closely with data end users throughout the organisation as appropriateSupports business review processes as appropriateQuery ResolutionResolve data discrepancies, anomalies and inconsistencies reported by stakeholders or identified during data quality checksCorrespond with MDM Manager if further escalation on queries is requiredAudit & Internal ControlSupport internal and external audits as requiredAdhere to all documented procedures, internal controls, governance and policy requirements at all timesCommunication and Change ManagementOffer support to team members (where necessary), and actively contributes to collaborative and high-performing team culture Identify continuous improvement opportunities based on role accountabilitiesCultivate effective relationships with key internal stakeholdersEngage with the MDM Manager on MDM-related updates, issues, progress, and challengesAbout youIdeally, you will have previous experience of working within similar Master Data teams.Knowledge of departmental function, terminology and interrelationships for data types.Previous experience working with ERP working with systems, specifically with SAP S/4 HANA would be highly desirable.Working knowledge of core finance processes - Order-To-Cash (O2C), Procure-To-Pay(P2P), and Record-To-Report (R2R)Strong written and verbal communication skills, an excellent service delivery attitude, attention to detail, proficiency of the use of Microsoft Office products and the ability to manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines whilst managing multiple tasks - will all be key.First time right focus with appropriate attention to detail ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in line with Bakkavor policy requirements.What you'll receiveAs an equal opportunity employer, we're committed to providing a safe and rewarding environment for you to thrive in.
