In this role, the successful Mobile Vehicle Mechanic/Technician would be responsible for working with one of London's most well-known emergency services, servicing, diagnosing and generally repairing a range of vehicle and equipment to ensure it is to the highest standard and ready to be used in live saving situations. The ideal Mobile Vehicle Mechanic/Technician would have a background as a mechanic or similar, have at least a level 3 and be eager to work a shift based/rota-based role and travel around London. The Role: Diagnosing faults and conducting vehicle testing using specialist equipment and techniques. Maintaining your company vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and timely servicing. Completing job documentation accurately, including post-repair write-ups and parts requisitions. Identifying recharge cost instances and reporting them with supporting evidence. Working across operational and training sites, performing manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and using tools. The Person: Vehicle Mechanic/Technician or similar. Level 3 qualified. Full UK Driving license.
