The wider Dispute Resolution Department, offers a full range of services including commercial disputes, Criminal Fraud, Regulatory and Sanctions.Criminal Litigation Solicitor Position Overview:You will manage a varied caseload of criminal matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients at police stations, Magistrates, and Crown Courts. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both sensitive and complex cases within a supportive, high-performing team.Key Responsibilities of the Criminal Litigation Solicitor:Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates and Crown CourtsPrepare and manage criminal defence cases from instruction through to trialAdvise clients on a broad range of criminal law matters, including serious crimeLiaise with counsel, experts, and witnesses throughout the case lifecycleManage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and autonomyContribute to business development and departmental growthMaintain outstanding client care and uphold firm standardsRequirements of the Crime Litigation Solicitor:Qualified Solicitor with at least 1-2 years PQE in criminal defence or litigationStrong advocacy and negotiation skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamClient-focused, professional, and proactive approachHigh level of integrity and discretionJBRP1_UKTJ
