Job Description Employee Relations ManagerSalary Guide 70,000 - 72,000 plus 7k carLocation: Central LondonHybrid working - Typical 3 days in the office 2 days from homeWere looking for an experienced Employee Relations Manager whos confident handling the full spectrum of complex ER issues right through to tribunal. Reporting directly into the HR Director this is a stand-alone role, so youll be the go-to person for anything complex ER-related, but you wont be on an island; youll have solid support from the Business Partnering team.What youll be doing:Leading on complex ER casework, including capability, conduct, grievances, and dismissalsManaging cases all the way to tribunal level, including preparation and representationAdvising on UK and Ireland employment law, making sure the company is staying compliant and acting fairlyWorking closely with trade unions and employee reps, including leading on collective consultation and pay negotiationsReviewing, updating, and creating people policies so theyre clear, practical, and in line with legislationCoaching managers to handle ER matters with confidence and consistencySpotting trends, sharing insights, and helping shape overall ER strategyWhat were looking for:Strong, hands-on ER experience in both the UK and IrelandProven track record managing complex cases and tribunal workExperienced working with trade unions and leading on collective bargainingConfident writing and shaping policiesSomeone whos happy in a stand-alone role but enjoys collaboratingLevel-headed, practical, and able to communicate clearly when things get trickyAble to travel to sites as and when neededIf youre someone who thrives in a busy ER environment, knows employment law inside out, and isnt fazed by high-stakes situations, wed love to hear from you.
