Job DescriptionBlue Legal are partnering with a leading international law firm who are recruiting for an Events Manager to join their London office. The role-holder will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating a variety of exciting and impactful events to enhance the firm's brand and client relationships. The Responsibilities:Collaborate with Business Development teams to determine event objectives, secure dates, and deliver client events while maximising budget value through strategic planning with Partners and senior stakeholders.Handle all aspects of event preparation including venue booking, RSVP management, supplier negotiations, catering coordination, and development of event materials and presentations.Manage in-person events, including guest services, supplier coordination, staff briefing, and event logistics from setup to breakdown.Run webinars and virtual events, providing technical support, briefing panelists, managing guest interactions, and supporting Academy hybrid events with high-profile speakers.Organise firmwide gatherings such as summer parties, Partners' conferences, and children's Christmas parties to support company culture and engagement.Ensure effective follow-up including attendee recording, budget updates, feedback assessment, photography coordination, and collaboration with Digital Marketing team for event content.Maintain event calendars and production schedules, manage inventory and resources, stay current with industry trends, mentor junior team members, and utilise all firm communication channels effectively.The Candidate:Strong creative skills with a proven track record of delivering engaging events both online and offline, preferably gained within a legal or professional services environment.Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, combined with strong relationship-building abilities that foster trust and productive working partnerships.Highly conscientious and organised with excellent attention to detail, able to work independently or as part of a team while remaining calm under pressure and thinking strategically with a commercial perspective.Ability to manage budgets and multiple simultaneous events with energy and enthusiasm, demonstrating a dynamic, positive outlook with a flexible, proactive, and client-focused approach that supports team objectives.Please note: Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
