Underwriting Operations Lead London Market | London (Hybrid - 3 days office) 80,000-95,000 + Bonus + Benefits We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Operations Lead to optimise underwriting operations across London Market platforms in a key permanent leadership role. Working closely with underwriters and underwriting management, you will drive high-quality operational delivery, strong governance, and continuous process improvement, while leading underwriting support teams and ensuring efficient, compliant end-to-end workflows. Key Responsibilities - Lead day-to-day underwriting operations across multiple business lines. - Act as the primary operational partner to underwriters and senior stakeholders. - Improve processes across submissions, policy admin, bordereaux, sanctions, and issuance. - Ensure audit readiness, data quality, and regulatory compliance. - Lead, mentor, and develop underwriting operations teams. Skills & Experience - Strong hands-on experience in London Market underwriting operations. - Solid knowledge of London Insurance Market systems (DCOM, SDC, PPL, Eclipse, Subscribe, Whitespace). - Proven experience partnering with underwriters and senior leadership. - Understanding of the end-to-end policy lifecycle. - Team leadership experience; transformation or systems implementation exposure desirable.
