Job DescriptionHead of Microsoft Copilot AI Strategy London 3 days a week on siteSalary: 150,000+ (permanent, with flexibility based on experience)Contract Option: Possible, though permanent hire preferredA leading global financial institution is undertaking a strategic rollout of Microsoft Copilot across its enterprise systems. The organization is seeking an experienced AI Consultant and Copilot expert to design and drive an enterprise-wide innovation roadmap focused on enhancing productivity, project management, documentation, and delivery efficiency across corporate and operations functions.This role sits within a newly created, high-impact initiative exploring how AI and Copilot technologies can transform enterprise operations beyond coding with a particular focus on business analysis, testing, and overall project delivery.The successful candidate will define and execute the Copilot strategy, build an innovation pipeline for AI productivity use cases, and work closely with senior stakeholders globally to embed automation and efficiency across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive Copilot and AI innovation strategy for the enterprise.Lead automation discovery to proactively identify and assess AI and automation opportunities across business processes, focusing on measurable efficiency and business value.Conduct detailed process analysis to evaluate feasibility and potential benefits of automation initiatives.Design solutions by creating detailed Process Design Documents (PDDs) and defining requirements for Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions.Collaborate closely with process Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and automation developers to optimise and redesign business processes.Build and manage an innovation pipeline for Copilot and AI use cases outside traditional development functions.Identify, prioritize, and drive productivity improvements across project management, QA, and documentation.Partner with senior global stakeholders (London and New York) to evangelize AI-driven transformation initiatives.Establish metrics and success criteria for AI adoption and report on performance outcomes.Essential ExperienceProven experience implementing Microsoft CopilotStrong understanding of project management, business analysis, and testing functions in enterprise environments.Hands-on experience designing automation or AI-enabled process improvements.Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (Director/SVP level and above) with credibility and strategic insight.Background in banking, corporate, or large-enterprise operations preferred.Demonstrated track record of communicating complex AI strategies and driving adoption across diverse teams.Candidate ProfileSenior-level professional (Director-level or equivalent) with demonstrable expertise in AI strategy, Copilot deployment, and automation leadership.Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.Confident working in new and exploratory black box initiatives with significant growth potentialThis is a unique opportunity to lead a first-of-its-kind AI and Copilot innovation program within a major global financial institution shaping the roadmap for enterprise AI adoption and defining the future of productivity transformation.
