Job DescriptionBid DesignerLocation - London or Winchester Contract - 9 months fixed term contract Hours - 3 days per week (21 hours per week) to include Monday and Friday Portfolio - please supply a portfolio to accompany your applicationAward-winning international financial consultancy who helps clients make good decisions based on insightful analysis, industry expertise and game-changing technology.Your company advise nearly one quarter of the FTSE250 and half of the FTSE100 firms; with a team of over 900 across their offices.You will help win business and retain and grow it by managing high profile and complex tenders. The role will work closely alongside the other members of the bid team, business development colleagues, and partners.What will you be doing?Your key responsibilities:Day to day ownership of bid design tasks, allocated by the Bid Design Manager, working within the Bid Process to agreed defined timelinesComplete bid design tasks to assist in providing a bespoke design service for all tenders whilst maintaining the integrity of the brandWorking with the Bid Design Manager, in collaboration with the bid manager, to ensure any design is representative of the win strategies and themes, scheduling concept reviews into the creative delivery of the tender documents and pitch materialsMaintain an efficient design process that allows collaboration and innovationComplete bid design tasks, working in collaboration with the pitch teams to deliver a succinct, compelling and engaging pitch materials to prospects and existing clientsWork with subject matter experts to turn written, numerical and existing content into compelling graphical representationsSupport to the improvement programme in winning work and promote best bidding practice across and beyondAssist in the building and maintaining of a strong library of graphics, photos, icons and other visual materialProvide ad-hoc support to the client development team with work winning presentations and documentationProvide ad-hoc support to the design team including marketing materials and collateral we produce for clients on their behalfYour SkillsA Designer with demonstrable experience, preferably within B2B professional or financial services, with experience on tendersTrack record of working on winning design processes resulting in measurable commercial successAdobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop), Microsoft Office suite (for design purposes)Creative and capable of producing professional, impactful visual designs within brand guidelines for sales and marketing purposesConfident and credible in working as part of a larger design team to help concept design development workshopsAn understanding of professional services in particular financial, actuarial, consulting, investment and insurance markets would be valuableWhats in it for you?For you & your familyAccess to internal Wellbeing, LGBTQ+, Multicultural and Womens networksLife assuranceIncome protectionFor your health:26 days annual leave (pro-rata for part-time working/fixed term contracts) plus bank holidays (most of which can be taken flexibly!) with options to buy & sell holidayPrivate medical insuranceDiscounted gym memberships, critical illness and dental insurance through flexible benefitsDigital GP servicesFor your wealth:Competitive pension schemeHigh street discountsFor others:Volunteering opportunitiesAnd much more!
