Job Description Main ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrician / Electrical Fitter, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on utility-scale renewable projects. Youll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards, contributing to our mission of delivering reliable, grid-compliant electrical solutions.Key Duties:Install, maintain, and repair HV, LV, and DC electrical systems in accordance with technical and safety regulations.Assemble, connect, and test panels, transformers, switchgear, inverters, and distribution boards.Perform cabling, glanding, terminating, and testing using approved electrical instruments.Support installation and integration of solar panels, mounting systems, and inverters.Conduct inspection, fault-finding, testing, and commissioning to ensure systems meet grid and project specifications.Prepare and complete site reports, test certificates, and handover documentation.Liaise with Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure timely delivery of tasks.Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring PPE use and adherence to site protocols.Supervise or assist junior staff, participating in ongoing training and toolbox talks.
