Account ManagerSalary c.34k dep on experience + bonusMy fantastic global client based in Cirencester has an exciting new vacancy for someone with experience or a strong interest in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.What Youll Be DoingBe the first point of contact for customers in your designated sales areaHandle incoming enquiries, provide quotations, process and following up with clientsSupport Area Sales Managers and work collaboratively to grow business in your regionPrepare accurate technical and commercial documentationIdentify new opportunities for business development and upsellingAssist with customer visits, exhibitions, and presentationsCollaborate with internal teams (engineering, systems, and commercial) to support customer needsCommunicating with existing and lapsed customersMust-HavesExperience in a technical sales, internal sales, or customer support roleTechnical qualification (ONC/HNC/HND) or equivalent experience in an engineering environmentStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesNice-to-HavesPrevious experience working in engineering or industrial equipment sectorsExposure to key account management or cross-functional teamsKnowledge of a product range or similar technical products (product training will be provided)Experience supporting field sales teams or external account managersBenefitsComprehensive product and system trainingSupportive team culture with opportunities for professional developmentExposure to high-profile customers and key accounts in yourregionHoliday - 25 days + bank holidays (we close over Christmas and these are taken from the holiday entitlement) + Birthday off in addition!Following a 6-month probation you can opt into Private Medical cover & also add dependents at an extra cost this includes dental & optical currentlyPension Company will contribute double the percentage that the employee puts in up to 8%.
