Cargo Support Supervisor

We are looking for a proactive Cargo Support Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily cargo operations for our client based near Christchurch. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and leadership skills along with supervisory experience and the ability to ensure efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities: Create and communicate daily timetables to Supervisors Discuss staffing levels and allocation with Supervisors Conduct debriefs to ensure completion of all tasks Coordinate office staff workload and daily reporting Escalate real or potential issues to Senior Supervisor/Head of Cargo Ensure Monthly Audit checks are completed Manage Import and Export data, ensuring timely submission to Finance Provide accurate delivery and collection information to trucking companies Requirements: Strong organisational, administrative, and leadership skills Experience in cargo or freight operations a distinct advantage Ability to manage multiple priorities and teams effectively Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Flexibility Shipments arrive from 5am until 10.30pm, the ideal candidate must be able to have flexibility in the hours that they can work to be able to accommodate all Cargo.Shifts are worked on a 4 days on 4 days off basis.
