Sales Executive

Job Description OverviewBirchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire.Reporting to the General Sales Manager, we are looking for an experienced highly motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service, to join our busy sales department at our Destination Motorcycles dealership in Christchurch, Dorset.This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first. You will support and guide customers every step of the way throughout the purchase of their new vehicle.Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:Identify and encourage potential customersProvide great customer serviceBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsMeet customer needs/expectationsProduce suitable options to the customer and adapt to their buying strategyNegotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed targetsLiaise with colleagues and other departments to provide seamless serviceOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills and Experience Required:Must have previous sales experience in automotive industryMotorcycle licence (essential)Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving, organisational and time management skillsAbility to meet tight deadlinesSelf-motivated, able to work on own initiative without constant supervisionExcellent interpersonal skills and able to create relationships at all levelsA flexible approachExcellent IT skills and technological skillsPackage:Working Hours:Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18.00, Saturdays 08:30-18:00 (1st April 30th September)Monday Friday 08:30- 17:00, Saturdays 08:30-16:30 (1st October 31st March) Day off during the week in lieu of Saturday working.Salary: 22,000 Basic (45,000 OTE)Holiday: 22 days plus bank holidaysBenefits: Competitive Salary, access to use demonstration bikes, Staff Purchase Scheme, Car Benefit Scheme, Health Shield Health Cash Plan, Reduced Winter Hours & No Sundays!We are an Equal Opportunities EmployerDue to the high volume of applications, we receive, unfortunately, we are unable to contact each applicant individually regarding the status of their application.
