CNC Laser / Press brake Operator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who are hiring for a Laser / Press brake Operator, based on the Wrexham industrial estate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a well-established business that has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Key Duties:Operate laser cutting and press brake machinery safely and efficientlyProgram the laser using BySoft software and AutoCADNest parts to maximise material usage and reduce wasteLoad and unload materials and finished parts using a forklift truckWork under the guidance of the current laser supervisorAssist with preparing quotations when requiredLiaise with customers regarding specifications and job detailsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working areaCarry out basic quality checks to ensure parts meet required standardsWhat We Are Looking For in the Successful Candidate:Experience using AutoCAD 2D (highly desirable)Experience using BYSOFT (highly desirable)Experience arranging parts on the material to reduce waste (nesting)Loading and unloading materials using a forkliftHelping with quotes and talking xjdpvnf to customers when neededBased locally or able to commute to Wrexham Industrial EstateWhat Our Client Can Offer in Return:Up to 33k DOEImmediate start availableLong-term opportunity with a well-established engineering and steelwork businessOpportunity to progress within the businessPrimarily based in Wrexham with site travel as needed
