The Role We are seeking a proactive HR Advisor to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance across the business, working closely with and supporting the Head of HR. You will play a key role in managing employee relations, advising managers, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly. This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to influence and contribute to ongoing HR initiatives and projects. Key Responsibilities Support the Head of HR in delivering the HR strategy and business priorities. Advise and coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice. Manage and support employee relations cases (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, absence). Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes. Contribute to HR policy development and implementation. Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support decision-making. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation. Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Who you are You are a skilled HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong understanding of HR processes and employment law, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels. You are confident advising managers and thrive in a role that combines operational HR with project involvement. Key Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a similar environment. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organised, with strong time-management and problem-solving skills. Confident in handling employee relations cases from start to finish. Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
