The UK operations are based in Birmingham and Chippenham, serving clients nationwide.The Role This is a key legal role supporting the UK business. The Legal Counsel will work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic legal advice, manage risk, and support business growth. The role involves drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, advising on compliance and regulatory matters, and overseeing legal operations in the UK.Key Responsibilities Provide legal support across all areas of the UK business Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners Advise on legal risk and compliance, including data privacy and corporate governance Support enterprise risk management and legal compliance initiatives Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel Deliver legal training and raise awareness of legal issues across the business Supervise and develop a UK-based contracts paralegal Assist the Regional General Counsel on European legal matters as neededAbout You Qualified solicitor with 7–10 years PQE Experience in financial services, automotive, or fleet management sectors preferred Strong background in commercial contracts, compliance, and transactional work Knowledge of data privacy, IP, and licensing is a plus Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a collaborative mindset Comfortable working independently and influencing at all levelsWhat’s on Offer Competitive Compensation + Company Car and Benefits (Medical, Pension etc) A collaborative and values-driven culture Opportunities for professional development and growth A chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, evolving business
