CNC Operator Location: Chippenham Salary: Up to 35,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am 5pm Type: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join a fast-growing team based in Chippenham. In this role, you'll play a vital part in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components across industries such as Defence, Automotive, and Aerospace. Key Responsibilities of CNC Operator: Set up CNC machines to ensure they meet technical specifications for a variety of complex projects. Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture parts with a high level of accuracy. Monitor machine operations during production, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met. Maintain detailed and accurate records of setups, production logs, tooling data, and machine performance. Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to resolve any technical challenges and ensure the timely completion of production targets. Essential Requirements of the CNC Operator: At least 1 years' experience in CNC operating. Solid experience in a precision engineering environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM programs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach to work.
