This award winning restaurant with rooms are currently looking for an ambitious and energetic Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade. With an award winning restaurant and 10 bedrooms this business utilises the best in terms of seasonality and local produce. Always developing dishes at the peak of ingredient availability. Reporting into the Head Chef as Sous Chef you will be responsible for the supervision of six chefs. Assisting and deputising for the Head Chef in all areas of kitchen management and menu development Ensuring food standards are kept to the highest level consistently and training junior chefs regularly. For this Sous Chef role you must have worked to at least Junior Sous Chef level in a 2 AA rosette restaurant/hotel. You must be able to demonstrate strong man-management skills and an ability to be flexible.
