Job Description Passive Fire Contracts ManagerChigwell Up to 55,000 (DOE) Full-Time | PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of passive fire protection projects across the Southeast of England, including Chigwell and surrounding areas.This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and fully compliant with UK fire safety legislation and third-party accreditation standards.You will oversee multiple contracts, manage subcontractors and direct labour, maintain strong commercial control, and build lasting client relationships all while ensuring the highest standards of life safety and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple passive fire protection contracts simultaneouslyOversee fire stopping, fire doors, and compartmentation worksEnsure compliance with UK fire safety legislation and industry standardsMaintain cost control and protect project marginsManage subcontractor procurement and performanceReview and approve RAMSConduct site inspections, audits, and quality checksAct as the main operational point of contact for clientsLead site teams and drive high standards of deliveryWhat Were Looking ForEssential:? Proven experience in passive fire contract management? Strong knowledge of fire stopping, fire doors & compartmentation? Excellent commercial awareness? Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation? Ability to manage multiple live projects? Full UK driving licenceDesirable:? FIRAS / BM TRADA / IFC scheme knowledge? SMSTS or SSSTS qualification?
