Due to a significant uplift in work, a well-established and prestigious manufacturing organisation are looking for a ShiftMaintenance Technician (electrical or mechanical).Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.The position is working in a unique, clean and fasted paced production environment with a range of complex, high speed machinery and auxiliary plant equipment.The role will involve:Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including complex automated production machinery, control panels, and control systemsMinimising downtime within a high-speed manufacturing environmentWorking with both modern and legacy machinery across a large factory siteSupporting the Maintenance Manager with site projects and operational requirementsContributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment performance and efficiencyTo be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a Level 3 NVQ/C&G qualification (or higher) in either mechanical or electrical engineering.Maintenance experience in a similar position within a manufacturing/production or distribution environment is also required. xjdpvnf Successful candidates will undergo security vetting and will need a clean criminal record and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years.Shift pattern:Weekly rotating double day shift Monday to FridayHours are 6am 2pm (early shift) and 2pm-10pm (late shift)Opportunity to pick up extra shifts/hours as overtimeBenefits:26 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pension scheme (up to9%contribution)Life insurance (4x annual salary)Stable, well established, profitable companyTraining and qualifications plus opportunity for progression
