Cellar Hand (Evening Shift)Location: Crawley, West SussexHours: Monday – Friday, 3.30pm – MidnightSalary: £27,500We are looking for a motivated and reliable Cellar Hand to join our production team on the evening shift. This is a hands-on role, supporting the production of high-quality sparkling wine and ensuring smooth day-to-day cellar operations.The Role As a Cellar Hand, you will be responsible for a variety of winery production activities, working with both wine in tank and bottled stock. You will also support training of junior staff, step in to operate production lines when required, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out winery production operations accurately, efficiently, and on timeOperate cellar equipment such as filters and heat exchangersTrain and support junior staff and new startersDeputise for the Cellar Supervisor on bottling and disgorging lines when requiredAct as shift supervisor during harvest if neededMaintain a safe, clean, and well-organised workspaceWork across different production sites as requiredKeep training and compliance records up to dateRepresent the company positively when interacting with othersWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in a winery, brewery, or food/beverage production environment would be an advantageAbility to operate cellar machinery (training can be provided)A strong team player with excellent attention to detailWillingness to work flexibly, with extra hours during peak periods (particularly harvest in October)Enthusiasm to learn and develop within the roleWhat’s on OfferFull-time evening shift role (Monday to Friday, 3.30pm – Midnight)Opportunity to develop new skills in wine production and cellar operationsA supportive and collaborative team environmentHarris Lord is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this role.
