Mobile Lead Engineer Maidenhead & Sittingbourne, Kent FM Service Provider 50,000 per annumIs your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.CBW is recruiting a Mobile Lead Engineer to support a clients facilities across multiple sites, primarily in Maidenhead (3 days per week) with a secondary site in Sittingbourne, Kent (2 days per week). A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites.This is a hands-on, senior engineering role where you will act as the key technical resource for the client, providing full operational and maintenance support for mechanical, electrical, and building systems, while ensuring compliance, reliability, and occupant comfort. Due to the location of the two sites, the ideal candidate will live inbetween the sites.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport the clients facilities teams, acting as the lead engineer across multiple sitesConduct daily checks and preventative maintenance (PPM) on all site assetsRespond to reactive tasks and emergencies efficientlyManage and oversee contractors, including permits, RAMS, and HSE complianceProduce clear, compelling reports and maintain site logbooksCarry out minor electrical works including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamp replacements, emergency lighting, and fire alarm testingAir conditioning maintenance: AHUs / FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic checks)Monitor and adjust BMS as required (e.g., hot/cold calls)Carry out minor plumbing and building fabric repairs when neededEnsure all statutory compliance requirements are metParticipate in client meetings as requiredWorking HoursMonday to Friday, 08:00am 17:00pmSkills & QualificationsElectrical (NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)Test & Inspection xjdpvnf qualification18th Edition Electrical CertificateMulti-skilled with strong commercial building maintenance experience (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and basic plumbing/fabric repairs)Knowledge of heating, air conditioning, and building fabric systemsSound understanding of Health & Safety obligations related to maintenance activitiesStrong communication, organisational skills, and client-facing professionalismAbility to work independently or as part of a teamPositive, proactive can-do attitudeFull driving license
