Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Solicitor Location: Chichester Salary: 45,000- 60,000 Hours: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team. The successful candidate will manage a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring clients receive a seamless and professional service. Key Responsibilities The role primarily involves mainly dealing with Freehold Purchases and Sales; less frequent are Leasehold transactions, Re-mortgages, Transfer of Equity, New Builds, Lease Extensions, Leasehold Enfranchisement, also Equity Release Handling a varied caseload of residential property matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfer of equity, and new build transactions. Drafting, reviewing, and advising on contracts and legal documents. Conducting searches, raising enquiries, and reviewing title documents. Ensuring all transactions are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML and CQS standards. Providing clear, practical advice and updates to clients in a timely and professional manner. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently. Maintaining accurate records, billing, and compliance with firm procedures. Key Skills & Experience Qualified Solicitor (12+ PQE) with experience in residential conveyancing. Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes. Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. Ability to manage a busy caseload independently while working as part of a supportive team. Good attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management. Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office. Desirable Previous experience working in a CQS-accredited firm. Familiarity with new build transactions and Help to Buy schemes. Ability to contribute to business development and networking.
