We are recruiting on behalf of a respected and award-winning construction company based in West Sussex. They are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. Role Overview The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing all commercial and cost-related elements of high-spec construction projects. Working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and delivery teams, you will help ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities: Cost planning, budgeting and managing project finances Procurement of subcontractors, materials and specialist suppliers Preparing and reviewing contracts, variations and valuations Monitoring and reporting on commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle Ensuring compliance with contracts, specifications and quality standards Contributing to risk management, value engineering and project optimisation Working collaboratively with internal teams and clients to maintain excellent relationships Quantity Surveyor Requirements Experience working on high-end/high-spec residential projects is essential Strong background in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management and Budget Control Knowledge of construction processes, contract administration and project delivery Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, negotiation and client-facing skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Proficiency with construction management or cost management software Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience) Quantity Surveyor Key Skills Cost estimation Contract management Budgeting and reporting Negotiation and stakeholder management Analytical thinking and problem solving Team collaboration Software proficiency Benefits Work on prestigious, architecturally significant projects Competitive salary and clear career progression opportunities 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays On-site parking Supportive team culture and opportunities to take on long-term responsibility TPBN1_UKTJ
