Pallex Operations Planner

We have a fantastic full-time and permanent opening for a Pallex Operations Planner with responsibility to plan the daily Pallex operations for the business. Ensuring that routes are planned efficiently to enable smooth and efficient operations. There will be hands-on work as part of this role, helping to load and unload the Pallex vehicles by forklift. Main Responsibilities will include: The routing for Pallet deliveries, planning the most cost-effective and time-effective routes, making best use of Pallex software and Churchill Freight operating system in this aim. Monitoring delivery scans, expected delivery times, reviewing progress throughout the day to be able to update and monitor, using the operating system to reflect progress. Report on daily volumes and revenue achieved to the Transport Manager. Complete and maintain accurate administration processes utilizing our software systems to: Price & process outbound freight on Churchill Freight Services and Pallex operating software. Plan, check off and scan inbound freight. Print & collate proof of delivery paperwork and arrange into drop order. Label and scans for outbound freight Work as a central contact point for colleagues, driving team, customers, Pallex freight and depots. Working to resolve issues as they arise and seeking constant improvements, for example raiding discrepancies to depots where KPIs have not been met. Assist with the Management of the Driving Team;working to resolve any issues as they arise and to enable smooth running operations. Liaison with internal colleagues and external parties where incidents occur and to process insurance claims and complete accident investigations. Help to unload trailers in the yard and operating a Forklift truck, this will include helping to load C&D vehicles and loading outbound freight.
