Product Merchandising Writer (Polish / English) - ICONIC GLOBAL STREAMING BRAND6-month, Full-Time Contract (Remote) - Approx. 40 hours/weekAbout the RoleWe are seeking a versatile, creative, and detail-oriented Product Merchandising Writer to join the Product Merchandising team. In this role, you will help subscription members navigate an expansive catalogue of content by crafting concise, engaging, and creative synopses and other product copy.This is an ideal role for an entertainment-obsessed generalist who loves storytelling, ideating on language, and thriving in collaborative editing environments. You’ll work across a wide range of genres — from reality TV to prestige historical dramas and romantic comedies — ensuring every title is represented with clarity, creativity, and cultural relevance.The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and editor with deep expertise in Polish media and entertainment, fluent in Polish and English, and excited to contribute to global conversations about entertainment.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite high-quality synopses for Polish and Central & Eastern European (CEE) movies and television shows in EnglishCreate additional product-facing copy, including:Collection and row namesEmail and push notification copyShort-form UI messagingWrite and edit selected product copy in Polish when requiredReview Polish product writing to ensure quality, accuracy, and local relevanceCollaborate closely with Editorial Writers to align copy with creative briefs and market needsApply BRAND editorial principles to produce inclusive, nuanced, and audience-aware writingManage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlinesRequired QualificationsFull professional working proficiency in EnglishNative-level proficiency in PolishDeep understanding of Polish culture and the Polish entertainment landscapeExcellent writing and editing skills in both Polish and EnglishProven experience writing:Synopses for streamers or broadcastersEditorial content related to film and television (articles, reviews, features, blogs)Experience producing short-form product copy (e.g. taglines, UI copy, push notifications, email messaging)Strong command of AP style and exceptional attention to detailExcellent research skills with the ability to quickly synthesize informationComfortable receiving and offering candid editorial feedbackSelf-motivated, collaborative, and able to work autonomouslyPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of other Central and Eastern European marketsFamiliarity with the German entertainment marketProficiency in additional European languagesAdditional InformationThis role is fully remoteApplicants will be asked to complete a writing exercise as part of the interview process
