Manufacturing Engineer - Initial 12 month contractSalary: £49.35 DOE (Umbrella)Location: DerbyAs a Manufacturing Engineer you will be doing:Ensure that manufacturing processes are capable of achieving and sustaining the design definitionPromote a culture of zero defects and ensure that digital systems are developed and deployed Right First-Time manufacturing, guaranteeing product quality and conformityDevelop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processesCapture, analyse and use data to demonstrate and improve the current and future capability of manufacturing processes.Experience and skillset - Manufacturing EngineerProfessionally Qualified EngineerStrong knowledge of machining processes (laser, grinding, milling and EDM) Strong analytical skillsProven track record in technical problem-solving, along with a solid understanding of Six Sigma / Lean methodologies.Proficiency with manufacturing systems such as CAPP, MES, SAPKnowledge of coating processes (plating, thermal spray and vapour deposition) is desirable All successful Manufacturing Engineers will be contacted with 2 working days of application
