Vendor Manager

**Job Summary**The Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and vendor management activities across the clinical development portfolio. This individual will serve as a critical interface between clinical operations, procurement, legal, and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of clinical programs. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing expertise, clinical trial knowledge, and cross-functional leadership to support global development efforts.Sponsor dedicated , contract role , 1 FTE. **Key Responsibilities**- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for clinical research services across therapeutic areas and trial phases- Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and governance processes for CROs, laboratories, and other external providers- Manage preferred supplier relationships, performance metrics, and issue resolution to ensure delivery excellence- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, procurement, legal, finance, and quality teams- Analyze sourcing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimization strategies- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and global regulatory standards (GCP, ICH)- Contribute to portfolio planning, budget forecasting, and risk management efforts**Qualifications**- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field; MBA or advanced sourcing certification preferred- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in clinical development sourcing or clinical operations in a global setting- Strong knowledge of CRO/vendor landscape and clinical trial outsourcing models- Proven experience in contract management, negotiations, and supplier governance- Exceptional project management, leadership, and interpersonal skills **Preferred Skills**- Familiarity with eProcurement systems and vendor management platforms- Ability to drive process improvements and cross-functional initiatives- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen- Experience supporting RFPs, MSAs, and risk-based sourcing strategies **What We Offer**- Strategic leadership opportunity in a dynamic, innovative organization- Exposure to global clinical trial operations and high-impact portfolios
