This role is essential in driving efficiency, profitability, and streamlined performance across wholesale, logistics, inventory, and merchandising. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and proactive, with strong experience in operations and a keen understanding of the fashion retail landscape.Company: Marie-Chantal LTDStart Day: ASAP/ Prior October 1stLocation:Monday–Thursday: 134 Lots Road, Chelsea, LondonFriday: RemoteSalary: TBCKey Responsibilities:Wholesale OperationsManage seasonal order processing across all brands using Zedonk and other relevant software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Act as the primary liaison between wholesale partners and internal departments (sales, production, logistics).Ensure accurate allocation and timely global delivery of goods.Oversee delivery tracking and stockist availability.Build and maintain wholesale critical paths and ensure adherence to deadlines.Monitor sell-through and reorders in partnership with the Commercial team.Ensure wholesale operations meet margin targets, MOQs, and delivery schedules.Lead post-season reporting: order performance, cancellations, and operational KPIs.Troubleshoot operational and shipping issues with efficiency and diplomacy.Maintain system accuracy across wholesale pricing, terms, and inventory.Logistics & DistributionManage the flow of goods from production facilities to warehouses, retail locations, and end customers.Optimise transportation, warehousing, and distribution logistics for cost efficiency and timeliness.Inventory Management / MerchandisingOversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock across all retail and wholesale channels, minimising overstock and stockouts.Conduct regular product performance analysis (weekly, monthly, seasonal) to evaluate sales trends, sell-through rates, and profitability.Collaborate with the Commercial and Design teams to inform seasonal buying plans, range planning, and product development based on sales data and market feedback.Monitor product lifecycle from launch through to markdown, identifying opportunities for replenishment, promotion, or clearance.Support seasonal merchandising strategies to align with brand vision, revenue targets, and customer demand.Provide data-driven recommendations for future collections, including colour, sizing, and category mix based on historical performance.Ensure accurate product setup and categorisation across systems for seamless alignment between merchandising, inventory, and e-commerce.Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in operational workflows and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.Financial OversightManage operational budgets and track department spending.Provide input and insight into improving the financial performance of operations.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, Production, and Design, to ensure all operational activities support the wider business goals.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.Proven experience in operations management and merchandising within the fashion or lifestyle industry.Strong understanding of logistics, inventory, and wholesale operations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in relevant systems such as Zedonk and inventory management software.Application ProcessInterested candidates should send their CV via LinkedIn message.We look forward to hearing from you!
