Theyre looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who wants to be fully involved in project delivery managing costs, contracts, and commercial performance across technically interesting schemes including drainage, utilities, reinforced concrete and specialist flooring.If you enjoy owning the numbers on complex civils packages and working closely with delivery teams, this is a role where youll genuinely make an impact.About the ProjectsYoull be working across a varied portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure works, including:Drainage and utilities installationsReinforced concrete structures and basesConcrete flooring and slabsGroundworks and infrastructure packagesEnabling works and deep excavationsCivils works within live or operational environmentsProjects are predominantly North Westbased with a mix of industrial, infrastructure and specialist schemes.The RoleThis is a delivery-focused Quantity Surveyor position covering the full commercial lifecycle from subcontract procurement through to final account. Youll work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are commercially controlled and profitable.Key ResponsibilitiesManage project costs from start to final accountPrepare and manage subcontract packages and procurementMeasure works and value completed activitiesAssess and agree variations and change eventsProduce valuations, forecasts and cost reportsMonitor budgets and commercial performanceReview drawings and identify commercial risks/opportunitiesManage subcontractor accounts and paymentsSupport contract administration (NEC/JCT)Contribute to value engineering and cost optimisationLiaise with site teams and clients on commercial mattersSome estimating skills would xjdpvnf be desirableWhat Were Looking ForExperience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or groundworksStrong knowledge of measurement and cost controlExperience with drainage, utilities, concrete or infrastructure worksConfident managing subcontractor accounts and variationsGood understanding of NEC or JCT contractsCommercially aware and detail-focusedCollaborative and proactive approachWhy Apply35,000 60,000 salary depending on experienceSecure, long-term pipeline of civils projectsTechnically interesting concrete and infrastructure workEstablished contractor with repeat clientsSupportive team and clear progressionNorth West project base
