Production Operative

Production Operative- Chester Johnsons Hotel Linen is a leading laundry and linen hire company, part of the Johnson Service Group, we supply linen to hotels across the UK. We are seeking Production Operatives to work within our laundry facility in Chester. The Role: Working under the direction of the Supervisors and Shift Managers in order to ensure that the Company provides a high quality and reliable service to its customers. All Staff are required to comply with reasonable requests to conduct duties which may include, but are not limited to: To carry out any reasonable request made by management. To keep managers, supervisors, colleagues informed as necessary. To wear uniform and use Personal Protective Equipment and handling aids, where supplied, at all times for all relevant tasks. To carry out all tasks to comply with Company Policy on Health & Safety and COSHH requirements. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Unloading vehicles Sorting linen Operating machinery Feeding line through ironer Packing linen Loading Helping with other general duties To comply with Company Policies and the Terms & Conditions of Employment and follow Company Procedures. To keep work area clean, tidy, safe and secure at all times. To attend training courses as required. To foster and maintain good working relations with colleagues. To maintain confidentiality of Company and Customer business. Other Ad hoc duties as required.
