Personal Injury (EL/OL) Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity to join a well established firm of solicitors based next to Cheshire Oaks. Our Firm is a panel member of the Police Federation (Police officers Union). We represent Police Officers that have been involved in work related accidents against the Police. The vacancy is ideal for a qualified solicitor or senior solicitor with at least 3 years experience in litigation, preferably in EL/OL personal injury. Responsibilities include: Managing a caseload of 130-150 Fast/Multi track litigated and pre-litigated personal injury Claims Ability to run a case from Pre-Lit to trial. Ability to work as part of a team, and with supervision, to comply with firm processes Ability to use case management software Drafting Court documents and Witness statements Preparing trial bundles Ensuring cases are run efficiently and court directions are complied with Regularly updating clients Ideal Candidate Previous experience in litigation essential Ability to meet strict court deadlines Strong focus on client care and managing members of the public through the court process Strong organisation and time management skills Strong client care skills to assist laypersons navigate the court system strong attention to detail and to spot technical points in Defences and evidence. Able to follow instructions of senior staff and comply with internal deadlines Case management software experience Self motivated and able to work autonomously and part of a team Ability to hit high targets on settlement and litigation Good organisation skills are essential whilst working under pressure Benefits Minimum 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays and birthday off (following 12 months of service).
