Job DescriptionJob Title: Employee Relations AdvisorSalary: Up to 36,000 per annumLocation: Broughton, Chester - this will be 3 days in Chester onsite, 1 day in Nuneaton (travel expensed) and 1 day at homeAre you a passionate Employee Relations Advisor with a strong grasp of employment law and a drive to support managers through complex casework? Were looking for a confident and experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our clients team, offering expert support across investigations, grievances, disciplinary action, absence and performance management.About the RoleAs an Employee Relations Advisor, youll act as a trusted partner to people managers, guiding them through a broad range of ER issues. Youll proactively manage your caseload from start to finish, ensuring outcomes are fair, commercially sound, and legally compliant.Key Responsibilities:Manage a varied caseload of ER matters in line with SLAs and best practiceProvide sound, legally compliant advice on ER cases including absence, conduct, grievance, and performanceMaintain up-to-date, GDPR-compliant case recordsEscalate complex or high-risk issues where appropriateCollaborate with HR, Trade Union, and Occupational Health teamsContribute to the development of ER-related policies, templates and trainingCoach and upskill managers to handle sensitive issues confidentlyAbout You:At least 2 years experience in an HR advisory or ER-focused roleStrong working knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidelinesProven experience managing high-volume ER caseworkExcellent communication and influencing skillsComfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative teamConfident in handling challenging conversations and situationsJoin now as an Employee Relations Advisor and help shape a workplace culture where fairness and engagement thrive.
