We are recruiting an experienced, high calibre paraplanner to work closely with our client, a team of Chartered financial advisers to design, develop, and implement comprehensive financial plans that exceed their clients expectations.Our client is a Chartered Independent Financial advisers based in Chester. Their mission is to provide financial guidance and support that helps their clients achieve their goals.As a Chartered IFA, they actively encourage and fully support all of their colleagues in theirprofessional development and will fund study material and examination costs to support CIILearning pathways.Key responsibilities include:Preparing analysis of clients existing portfolioProvision of technical support to AdvisersCompleting calculations (i.e., income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Chargeable Gains, Cashflow Modelling etc.)Working closely with the Adviser to research and formulate appropriate advicePreparation of Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentationAdherence to compliance procedures, core values and high standards of client serviceRegular liaison with product providers, account managers and clientsDevelop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needsSkills and experienceThis role is perfect for someone who thrives on turning complex financial data into actionable, client-friendly solutions.You haveprevious experienceof working within an Independent Financial Adviser practiceYou areorganised & methodicalYou have excellent attention to detail andhigh standards of accuracyYou are organised and able toprioritise and meet deadlinesYou haveeffective communication skillsStrong analytical and numerical skillsYou thrive working as part of a teamYou havestrong IT skills, specifically in MS OfficeWord, Excel and OutlookExperience of IO (Intelliflo) back-office system would be an advantage, together with experience of some, or all, of the following platforms:SelectaPensionFinancial ExpressTrigoldAssurewebExWebMiCapInvestment Platforms; Abrdn, Aviva & AegonThe ideal candidate will have several years of paraplanning experience, RO qualifications would be preferred but not essential if experience can be evidenced.Excellent benefits include:PermanentA full-time positionA salary to match your talent/experience20 days holiday entitlement + bank holidaysAnnual pay review with performance linked pay increases9am-5.30pm, access to flexible working hours when requiredGroup Pension schemeReach your career goals with outstandingtraining and progression, including internal and external training programmesFull sponsorship for financial advice qualificationsStudy days for relevant examinationsAccess to free financial advice and supportCycle to Work SchemeCompany social eventsTPBN1_UKTJ
