Job Description Senior DevOps EngineerWere looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team of an established auto services company close to Chester. This role is key in driving forward automated solutions that make software delivery faster, more secure, and more efficient.Youll work closely with the DevOps Manager and wider team to improve everything from infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines to automated testing and cloud deployments; all while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards.Benefits include: 36 days holiday, private medical, free parking, 34 hour working week, flexi timeWhat youll be doing:Design, build & maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Azure PipelinesManage and optimise Azure environments for security, cost, and performanceRefine CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable releasesImplement cloud-native deployments with Kubernetes, Docker, and HelmCollaborate with developers to remove delivery bottlenecksEnhance monitoring, logging, and observabilitySupport cloud security & ISO compliance best practicesKey skills:Proven experience in DevOps engineering with automated CI/CD pipelinesStrong knowledge of Terraform, Azure, Kubernetes, and HelmHands-on experience with Git, Azure Pipelines, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)Experience managing AKS and cloud infrastructureNice-to-have:Datadog, Ansible, or Azure DevOps admin experienceFamiliarity with RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Redis, or the Microsoft stack (.NET Core, SQL Server)Knowledge of microservices, Linux, and security/networking fundamentalsYoull have real influence over how we deliver software, work with modern tech, and grow our DevOps culture.
